Who is providing this web-site?

A group of south Florida friends are collaborating to make this page an interesting and informative site. One of us was born in Florida to a family that has been in Florida since the early 1800's. He has fished for more than 50 years in hundreds of inshore and offshore spots in Florida and many sites around the world. Another angler was born in Miami and has done most of his fishing in this area. Another was born in New Jersey and has fished in the northeastern USA and Canadian waters. Another was born in North Carolina and has fished inshore and offshore in that beautiful and productive area.

We all travel a great deal and we have enjoyed fishing in many special places around the world. Between us, we have fished with bait casting, spin, fly, and heavy deep water tackle. One is a doctor, another a businessman, one a computer analyst/programmer, and another a sales manager. The common bond is a love for fishing and for people who fish. We have found that there exists a world-wide camaraderie among anglers and that there is an eagerness to share time and information in pursuit of this unique sport. We hope this site will add to your fishing pleasure and that you will help us introduce even more people, especially young people, to this hobby. Between us we have shallow water boats and off-shore boats available to pursue a wide range of fishing opportunities.

None of us are professional fishermen, but we believe that professional guides and tackle shops are a great source of information, and that they possess outstanding skills which can enhance our enjoyment and understanding. We all use tackle shops and professional guides frequently, and we solicit their input and participation in this web-site.
